Mass Audubon is New England’s largest nature conservation organization. Founded in 1896 by two women fighting for the protection of birds, Mass Audubon continues its legacy by focusing on the biggest challenges facing the environment today: biodiversity loss, inequitable access to nature, and climate change.
With the help of its 160,000 members and supporters, they protect wildlife, conserve and restore resilient lands, advocate for impactful environmental policies, offer nationally recognized educational programs for adults and children, and provide endless opportunities to experience the outdoors at our wildlife reserves.
