“It was everything I didn’t know I needed. I was still able to use my body, but the perspective was different; the approach was different,” Mostofi explains. “Instead of using my skill set to compete, I’ve been using it as a way to get curious and feel about my body and strengthen my intuition without having an end goal.”

After re-acquaintance with her body, it is time to explore her mind and soul. “Curiosity led me to breathe. I wasn’t expecting anything – I had no idea what it offered, what the point was – I just wanted to try it,” shares Mostofi. During the first 15 minutes of the 45-minute class, Mostofi had a deep, methodical response that caused her to shake and burst into tears. From that moment on, she realized how important the practice of breathing is to her sense of emotional balance. “It’s one thing to know, but to feel is another,” she explains. Holistic Wellness Coach
Yoga may have been the beginning of her journey, but Mostofi has since branched out into other forms of holistic fitness, including breathing, sound baths, and a unique experience in personal training that combines different practices and techniques and focuses on strength and mobility.
“My goal is to make sure that my mental body, my active body, and my physical body are all taken care of equally and not overshadowed by one. They are all closely related,” says Mostofi. This is a feeling she shares with her students and clients as much as she does with herself. is to reserve space for all of that, for myself, to live a comprehensive, balanced and integrated life.”
