Mike Yapp is a martial artist and yogi turned tech entrepreneur using "humility and self-discipline" as a "secret sauce" to build multi-million dollar companies.

Serial entrepreneur, yoga teacher, martial artist, poet, social media influencer, and founder of companies like and has a tried-and-true formula for success in starting any business.

Mike Yap began his entrepreneurial journey in 2015 after leaving his last job at the company at Lululemon.

“It was a blessing in disguise when I joined Lululemon’s head office thinking it would be a perfect fit in terms of work-life balance, ideally doing some yoga and meditation at lunch… It seemed like it was a dream job at the time.”

The company was growing fast, so it ended up being more than equilibrium. “I left Lululemon with $40,000 saved in my bank account and hired my first two mentors. One taught me how to publish books on Amazon Kindle, and the other helped me remove false beliefs about the financial mindset that my parents gave me to grow.”

Since then, Mike Yap has become one of the highest-paid Amazon Kindle publishers and has sold over $50,000,000 in e-commerce sales since 2016.

“When I was 19, I had a goal of becoming a millionaire before I turned 30, but no matter how many spreadsheets I created, math was never added, especially working for a corporate job.”

With the power of the internet and global experience in marketing, design and copywriting, paired with an abundant mindset, Mike was able to achieve his goal, saying, “Don’t underestimate the importance of writing stuff. Something miraculous happens when you have crystal clear clarity about your vision of where you want to be.” The universe will conspire to see you succeed.”

Currently successful, Mike Yap is now focused on helping 1 billion people reduce stress and live better lives using meditation and breathing techniques. Awareness is a multi-platform technology designed to reduce stress, improve mental performance, and raise the level of human consciousness.

“We are the first company to use a smartphone/computer camera to look at your face and tell you how stressed you are from 0-100. We do this by using computer vision to track heart rate variability and breathing rate. The app will then use meditation and breathing exercises to bring you back to a state of calm and cohesion.”

Conscious is still in the early stage of development, but Mike has already garnered the interest of luxury car brands like Audi, and is encouraging people to sign up for early access. He is also looking to raise US$2 million in the preliminary round from mission-aligned investors, and he welcomes all those interested in contributing to contact him via email.

Mike Yap has also started three YouTube channels with the aim of adding more value to the world. Mindful Experience is a YouTube podcast dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of spirituality, different mental states, meditation, and more.

As the “Superhero Crypto Ninja,” Mike offers his viewers an abundance of informational content regarding the latest news in the cryptocurrency industry, 100x potential projects, honest reviews, and cryptocurrency trading. With The Vancouver Experience, Mike Yap aims to help showcase 200 local businesses in Vancouver, Canada, from restaurants, spas, hotels, attractions, and more.

Mike is also the founder of Scarflings, an online retailer of luxury scarves, bags, and clothing accessories.

“Modern clothing is a few quality pieces. The upside to this wardrobe is simplicity and downside is the risk of getting bored with the same look. The Scarflings collection will give your wardrobe endless possibilities. You can count on your wardrobe with a wide range of options After all, more scarves mean more opportunities to express yourself,” he said.

When asked if he had any final words, Mike said, “Spend the time talking inward, and you will realize that you can really do anything you put your mind to, because the world is simply a reflection of your inner state and imagination. Clarity, mentors, humility and self-discipline will be your guides.” Real-world skills in marketing (or “grabbing and directing attention”), design (or having an “eye to make things better”) and copywriting (or “storytelling”) are essential to any successful business. Of these matters to your business, feel free to send me an email.”
