SJSU heads to Wyoming Saturday on CBS Sports Network

San Jose, California – San Jose State Football (2-1, 0-0 Mountain West) heads to Wyoming (3-2, 1-0 Mountain West) on Saturday at 4:30 PM PT via CBS Sports Network and KTRB 860 AM Memorial stadium from the war.

  • The Spartans beat Western Michigan 34-6 last Saturday night, their biggest win over an FBS opponent since 11/10/12 when SJSU defeated New Mexico State 47-7 away.
  • The SJSU defense kept the Broncos on eight completions and 71 passing yards.
  • The Spartans allowed the fewest completions in a game against WMU since 10/28/17, when they gave up seven completions to San Diego State. The 71 passing yards is the lowest the Spartans have surrendered since holding Cal Poly to his 37 yards on September 2, 2017.

  • The SJSU defense has a 60% red zone scoring percentage this season, ranking first in the MW and seventh in the nation.
  • The win over Portland State (9/1) was the show’s 500th victory in history, drawing 16,291 spectators and the best home opener since September 17, 2011.

Coach show:

For the first time since 2018, the San Jose State Coach Show will be on radio. Allegri hosts and presents weekly segments with head coaches. Brent Brennan, special guests and players. Each broadcast can be heard on KTRB on Thursday nights at 7pm.

Teskes Germania will be the venue for the San Jose coach show, which is taped to a live audience every Wednesday night at 6pm. The restaurant is located at 255 N First St. in San Jose, and more information can be found here.
