Spyre Sports Launches Tennessee NIL Nonprofit, Volunteer Legacy

Spyre Sports management saw an opportunity in the name, image and likeness landscape to focus on enriching the Knoxville community.

So they founded Volunteer Legacy, a non-profit organization within the NIL framework.

“We can use it forever,” said Brandon Spurlock, Volunteer Legacy’s vice president of fundraising and engagement.

Volunteer Legacy launched Tuesday with a mission to give young people the opportunity to engage with Tennessee athletes to make a positive impact on their lives and develop skills ranging from leadership to creativity. . It acts as a conduit between UT athletes and philanthropic programs, using NIL to bring communities together in ways beyond his most publicized NIL deals.
