Khloe Kardashian is in legal trouble after participating in a goat yoga session.
The reality star took the class with Kevin Hart in a 2018 episode of his unscripted series on Peacock called What The Fit.
But a singer from Tennessee objected to the episode and he is now Claiming $50,000 in damages, according to a new lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit, goat yoga performed by Khloe Kardashian allegedly caused “emotional distress.”
The singer, Chezney McGoat, has filed a lawsuit against Kardashian and other big Hollywood stars including Hart, Sophie Turner and Maren Morris.
He claims he experienced distress after watching celebrities use “armless goats as entertainment”.
Kardashian, Hart, Turner, and Maurice were participating in a “goat yoga” session, a typical regular yoga session that involves baby goats interacting with yogis.
The presence of goats is believed to reduce a stress hormone called cortisol while increasing levels of serotonin and dopamine, also known as “happy” hormones in humans.
This is essential for yoga because the exercises are meant to release any tension and allow yourself to fully relax.
However, some have questioned the ethics of goat yoga, claiming that it exploits animals as gentle props rather than as intelligent, sensitive creatures.
McGoat is a fan of goats and advocates for animal rights for his 52,000 followers on Instagram.
He wishes to be a “voice for the voiceless” by bringing lawsuits.
“After viewing videos and photos of each of these notable individuals highlighting and promoting goat yoga for their own gain,” McGot told RadarOnline.com..
“I cannot go beyond knowing what these animals have gone through for entertainment purposes only. All goats used for these purposes are undesirable.”
“A hot iron between 900 and 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit is taken to the heads of young goats to prevent the growth of antlers.,” he added.
“The pain they have to go through doesn’t even compare to the distress they see/know that everything has caused me emotionally.”
“It disgusts me and it must stop! I am calling on these “celebs” to apologize and pay, as I will then donate the money to help save more goats from suffering.”
Kardashian took to her Instagram story to address the lawsuit.
I posted a screenshot of an email I received regarding this topic.
“Dear [blocked out]. Hope you had a good weekend. We’re writing a lawsuit against Chloe brought by the singer [blocked out] in Tennessee.
“He claims to be in psychological distress after watching her engage in goat yoga. He wants $50,000. I’ve included a screenshot of the lawsuit. Do you want us to include a statement?”
Kardashian included a poll with a screenshot inviting 273 million followers for advice.
Poll options consisted of “send him a goat to calm his ordeal,” “counter-suit – now I’m feeling bad,” and “start a goat yoga business.”
Kardashian then posted several photos from her goat yoga session with Hart, including one with a baby goat standing on its back.
She captioned the photo, “I think goat yoga isn’t safe anymore. Sorry how.”
Other netizens praised Kardashian’s hilarious response.
“I’m at a loss for words that someone sued my best friend, MY BESTIE, because she practiced goat yoga,” one fan said of Kardashian in a TikTok video.
“You’re telling me you want Khloe Kardashian to pay you $50,000 because she did yoga with a goat? It’s not the first and it won’t be the last.”
“If you are going to sue any of them [the Kardashians] For emotional distress, Kylie will be your best bet, because honey we haven’t seen that baby,” the fan joked, referring to Kylie Jenner who’s still withholding fans from a glimpse of her son with Travis Scott, who was born in February.
One TikTok user commented on the lawsuit: “Oh my God, that’s so funny.”
Another user noted that “a person will spend more on attorney’s fees trying to file a lawsuit.”
